Salute brothers and sisters of Satan!
It has been all to long since I have updated the blog and for this I apologizes but life has once again taken me on a side tangent, but I am back! With that said let’s get down to the nitty-gritty of why I am writing this, an update. We here at the Temple of the Crooked Serpent are going to attempt to become slightly more involved with the Satanic Community via a Yahoo message group. Yes this is dated technology to say the least and most of the groups of the past are now dead or inactive and the active groups that are on the service tend to make the mucky side of craigslist look like a Disney movie. Though this is simply a way for us to stay in contact with each other, pure and simple. I have no want nor need in this life time to ever run another forum. Not only is the coding a royal pain in the balls but it breeds all sorts of fun psychos and perverts. The Yahoo group allows us to ask for membership so we can control the trolls. Nonetheless this is our small way of reaching out to the Satanic community, though like all things with the TCS it will move very slowly and seem most of the time dead. Here is the info all are welcome as long as you can be respectful.
Temple of the Crooked Serpent Yahoo Group
Well yet again the site for The Temple of the Crooked Serpent is up and fully functional. We will continue to compile the library and other features such as core beliefs and such but for now at least the masses have access to the main blog and the link to the you tube channel.
Well maybe not of the Devil but it is quite the neat yet some what cheesy adaptation on the Ubuntu Linux Distribution aptly called “Ubuntu Satanic Edition” by its creators.
So I have been playing around with this distro for about two days now and all I can say is that it has little to no out of the box issues and even betters its father Ubuntu by straight out of the box being able to play MP3’s and DVD movie with out the need of finding a correct codec and then installing it through the terminal or the application add/remove. Though overall the “SE” is mainly a slim-down (less per-installed applications) themed version of Ubuntu and not so much as a pure distribution as one would get with something like Puppy, Knoppix, Kubuntu (My personal distro), Mandriva, or any other distro that is floating out there. Though I will say that their use of a soundtrack to the distro was great but not really a reason to download and use the OS. So if you are looking for a great OS that is themed in a Dark fashion and has great media playing ability right off the bat this may be the Linux distribution for you.
